Will Bleach Continue?

bleach___by_skycreed-d6q5uk6.jpgRumours have been buzzing around for quite a few years now about the continuation of Bleach. There is a high demand for it (I know I am demanding that it continue) as well as it still remains a very popular anime. It is highly ranked, way up there with Naruto and One Piece.

However there seems to be a rivalry between Naruto and Bleach, it is said that between those two, the one you watch first is the one you will prefer. I prefer BleachĀ personally, and yes I did watch it first.Ā

Anyhow, the anime ended at episode 366 leaving fans heartbroken and with the desire to know what happened next? How did Ichigo move on and what happened with the rest of the gang? Many were unaware that the story continued on with the manga and was left with many unanswered questions. I myself would like to see the characters once again and really see the characters come to life once more.

Masashi Kudou Ā a character designer who worked on Bleach was asked about the continuation and this is what he had to say:

“The anime’s staff hasn’t forgotten about it like people said. If we don’t say anything about it, that means we have nothing in progress at the moment, but there is always a possibility for it to return. Because people care about Bleach deeply. This ties in with what we said on 27 March 2012 (The end date of the anime). It’s important to wait patiently and continue to support the anime and manga by buying licensed BleachĀ products while hoping to see it back.” – 2015

Thus it is still unknown whether the anime will continue or not. However, it still remains a popular belief that once the manga ends the anime shall once again begin.

Are you like me and waiting for the continuation or are you not too bothered one way or another? Please let me know in the comments!

  1. BLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEACH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bring It Back, We Want It Now.

  2. i have a feeling the response to the end of the manga will be too much to resist for both the writer and the animatons peoples and i suspect that Johnny Yong Bosch will love to come back onboard considering he’s been doing nothing but total shit dubs for disney lately (ye i watch bleach dubbed. its one of maybe 4 i do watch dubbed))

    1. I started with bleach on dub, it’s a good, I only switched over to sub because that is all my friend had, and since I fell in love with the sub voices that going back to dub sounds weird. I just hope that they really will continue it. The manga is good, I love Kenpachi Zaraki Bankai šŸ˜€

  3. I really really want it to continue too. The next arc with the squad no. 0 is to awesome to be staying as a manga arc. It should be made as an anime. But, for almost four years now, I’ll continue to wait.

  4. Alright guys, don’t eat me, but I’m not a fan of Bleach. It even surprises me. I don’t know why I didn’t get into it, I just…didn’t. I do hope it continues, though, because it is so popular and has such a huge fanbase. It would be heartbreaking to see a successful anime stop, even though I’m not a fan of it myself.
I find it interesting that Bleach and Naruto have such a rivalry. I did watch Naruto before Bleach, but I don’t really like either of them. Unfortunately, my introduction to Naruto was right in the middle of Shippuden. It freaked me out and I didn’t touch it again. ^_^’
So, yeah. I’ll be watching to see what happens with Bleach.

    1. I won’t bite I promise, I am aware that it isn’t for everyone. I also understand about Naruto it took years before I actually watched it. The rivalry between them is amusing since they are very different in story line šŸ˜€

  5. I agree! Bleach is an all time favorite anime of mine. It tip the scale for me becoming an otaku hahah. They have to continue with Bleach. As you said there are many unanswered questions. They have room to add more to the story as well. So I agree. They should continue

    1. No arguments from me! Bleach was what really got me hooked on anime so I fully understand. Unfortunately all we can really do is hope that they continue with it.
