Having the doorway opened for them the Bount manage to make it to Soul Society. Once in soul society they have access to as many spirit particles they want which boosts their strength and allows them to heal any injury they may get. Thus effectively giving them a major upgrade in their power. Upon arriving in Soul Society the Bount go into hiding in Rukongaki and start gathering followers who will help them break into the center of Soul Society.
Ichigo, his friends and the shinigami follow the Bount to Soul Society but they can not locate the group. While searching for the group Ichigo and Uryu learn that the Bount are a byproduct of an experiment that Soul Society was conducting that went wrong. It is also revealed that Soul Society tried their best to eradicate the existence of the Bout and almost succeed.
The Bount create an army which they use as a distraction. While trying to calm and suppress the mob of people a new danger is presented that the shinigami need to work together in order to keep Soul Society safe.
Even though this arc is relatively short there are plenty of decent match ups for the fights and it gives a little more depth and growing space for the characters. There are also a few side stories going on to distract from the main arc while adding to it.
The final Bount arc uses four pieces of theme music. There are two opening themes and two ending themes. The opening theme for the first six episodes is “Tonight, Tonight, Tonight” by Beat Crusaders; the rest of the episodes use “Rolling Star” by Yui.
The ending themes are Takacha’s “Movin!!”, used for the first six episodes, and “Baby It’s You” by JUNE, used for the remainder of the episodes.
