KÅsei Arima is aĀ prodigy when it comes to playing a piano. He had been dominating every competition he entered with his mother as his teacher. He became really famous among child musicians. However shortly after his mother died he had a mental breakdown during a piano competition and has not played the piano since. Two years have passed since then and his neighbor and best friendĀ Tsubaki is worried about him. While waiting for his friends, Kosei meets a beautiful girl,Ā Kaori Miyazono. She is a fourteen-year old audacious, free-spirited violinist whose playing style reflects her manic personality. She manages to bring colour back to KÅsei’s colourless life. Due to her erratic playing Kaori’s accompanist quit. Needing an accompanist Kaori sets her sights on KÅsei. Ā Since his breakdown he is no longer able to hear the notes from the piano while he plays. He has no intention of being Kaori’s accompanist. However Tsubaki and Kaori team up and work together to get KÅsei to play.Ā WillĀ KÅsei be able to hear his music and help Kaori and keep his promise?
My Thoughts:
I really enjoyed this anime. I already knew what was going to happen before I even watched it (the joys of social media). However, what the lie was surprised me and there were quite a few things that I did not see coming. Despite knowing what was coming I was still drawn into the show. There are some scenes where the art work is really amazing and detailed. The characters were complex with multiple sides to them. Their stories wove together neatly to create the full story of Your Lie In April. This anime is one of the school drama’s that I will watch again.

I cried like a baby when I watched this anime. so much emotions and sadness. koari knows that she will be gone but she didn’t gave up that part was really something else. I highly recommend this anime.

I’ve heard so much about this anime. But I never seem to get around in to watching it. The ending from what I’ve read is a let down. But good to know you enjoyed it :D.
The ending basically wraps up the anime. It doesn’t add that much extra, or continue the characters stories. I thought the ending suited it š
