Anime that never gets old

For this answer I will be mentioning a couple of anime. Of course I could not limit myself to just a singular anime but you probably already knew that. I have watched so many anime and there are some that I have not watched again. However there are just some anime I cannot stay away from and keep going back to over the years. I tend to watch them at least once a year. Thankfully only one of them is a long running anime the rest I can watch in just a few hours, okay maybe more than just a few but in one sitting at least.

There are more but those are my main three. I know that no matter what mood Iā€™m in I can put one of those on and just curl up and be drawn into the story and forget the world around me and my troubles. I have often burnt supper while watching these, I just lose all track of time and forget to pause to check on food. I have been watching these three since 2007, so wow it has almost been a decade now. Each time I put it on itā€™s like reuniting with a dear friend who I havenā€™t seen in a while.

    1. Death Note was epic! Aw I love Samurai Champloo, looking for the samurai who smelt like sunflowers! I still need to finish Parasyte.

  1. Man, Black Cat huh? That sure takes me back, I used to love that show so much. It was one of my first anime series. Still love it!

For me, a series that never gets old would have to be Hunter X Hunter (2011) or Gurren Lagann. Despite HxH being 148 episodes long, I’ve managed to watch it three times and I’ve yet to get sick of it. I guess it helps that it’s my favourite show of all time. As for Gurren Lagann it’s just good fun to watch!

    1. I still need to watch HunterXHunter and Gurren Lagann! Hunter X Hunter is quite high up on my to watch list, only thing is getting all of the episodes! šŸ™‚ Yea there are so many anime that take me back, I like going back to the older ones and reminiscing.

  2. Definitely have to agree with Bleach. No matter how many times I start it, there is still the same pure joy at seeing the characters again. Thanks for sharing.

    1. That joy is priceless, although I will admit I do tend to skip episodes that I find slightly boring but on the whole you can’t go wrong with Bleach!

      1. I do too! Plus they don’t really add to the story so it’s not like we really missing anything XD
