Sad to admit it but Bleach really did have bad arcs and what makes it worse is that it is hard to pick the worst one.
Each of the actual and original story line arcs were decent, the same can not really be said for the filler arcs which had just been created just to give Tite Kubo the time to create more content before animating it. That is where I prefer the long delay between seasons (I’m looking at you Attack on Titan) rather than getting random arcs which are pure filler and just bring the reputation of the show down.
So for this one, I am going with, the 9th arc which was episodes 168-189:
The New Captain Shūsuke Amagai arc
What really made this one the worst for me was the fact if it had been given more time and consideration it could have been fleshed out into a pretty decent story. Instead, we were given poorly developed characters, a rushed story and a painful filler with some really awkward episodes to watch.
