I love side characters, they are not really bound by the plot as much as the main characters and thus they can pretty much do what they want and how they want to do it. As an added bonus, they are free to have basically any personality. In Bleach this was no exception and having a massive cast of characters there were plenty of characters to choose from for this section. However, surprisingly I was able to pick a single character as my best side character.
UraharaĀ Kisuke
Considering in the original plans, he was meant to be the bad guy it makes sense that his personality stands out so much. In the end, I am so glad that he was not the main mastermind behind everything. He aided the MC as well as basically every character in the show. IF not for him I am quite convinced the Soul Society would have not survived through everything. Although it is true that if Kisuke did not create the HÅgyoku, Aizen would not have been the bad guy, so Rukia never would have needed saving which means the story would never have happened. Oh well, š details details…
