This post is a simple and look at who Mine was as a character in the anime, Akame Ga Kill. I have kept the character description as spoiler free as I could.

Looks
Mine has very long pink hair which she wears in a simple twin tail style. She has vibrant pink eyes that match her pink hair. To carry on with and match the pink of her hair and eyes she usually wears pink clothing. As an extra FYI, she also tends to wear pink underwear.
Personality
Mine is a very outspoken character in Akame Ga Kill. She is a self-proclaimed “Genius Sniper” with a sharp tongue and quick wit.
She is quick to anger and is often irritated by people that she does not know well. She enjoys teasing Tatsumi because he is the newest member of Night Raid. With the people, she has opened up to she shows a warm and kind personality. Throughout the series, you slowly see her reveal her compassionate side.
Due to being half-foreign blood and being discriminated because of it she dreams and desires a world where there is no racial discrimination. Mine joined the Revolutionary Army after she had learned that they were forming alliances with the western countries.
She fights so that people of other races can be accepted and so that others won’t have to go through the discrimination and suffering that she had been through.
Strengths & Weaknesses
Mine uses a rifle called Roman Artillery: Pumpkin. It can shoot in three modes, machine gun, sniper and long barrel. The gun shoots out highly concentrated shots of spirit energy. She can strike her targets with extreme precision. The more danger Mine is in, the stronger her attack.
Mine tends to leave her back vulnerable to attack. Making it her biggest weakness. She is the last member of Night Raid to appear on wanted posters.

I’m not a fan of Mine. She came across as a typical tsun. I do like the image at the end though! š
Mine was a bit of an irritating character for me but I admired her resolve.
