Bleach, my final preannounced free 2020 anime calendar. It seems that no matter what, Bleach fits in with every theme I have had for these free calendars, that and I am obsessed with the anime.
Thus with another year, I have dedicated hours to another epic Bleach calendar. With each year the screenshots get older and more and more dated but I just simply do not care. I still find a way to use them and I have never, not once, not loved the Bleach calendars with their ‘older-anime’ art and pixels. Yes, I may struggle with the square screenshots to get them to align nicely with the layout, and I may need to replace and try multiple screenshots of the same battle to get the one that works, more so than the other ‘newer’ anime or the other long-running shows that have more recently created episodes. However, I doubt a year will go by without featuring this iconic anime. Especially because of my love of the show.
It would seem that I am not alone in my passion for the nostalgia, as each year when asking for suggestions of what you would like to see in the calendar (according to the theme of the year) I get a slew of suggestions that I then need to sort through and pick what works best with the theme and style of that year’s calendar. This year’s theme, epic battles, was no different. After sifting through the suggestions and recapturing screenshot after screenshot, I give you, Bleach’s 2020 calendar!
