Blue Exorcist, Nothing More Than an Intro

Blue Exorcist, first released back in 2011 and was an instant hit in the community. Then it continued, got weird and then did not continue. Which led to mixed reviews and reactions.

Deadman Wonderland, Rewatched

Deadman Wonderland is the first anime I reviewed on my blog. Deadman Wonderland is a really rough anime and is quite happy to show gore and graphic deaths.

Dance with Devils, Why Do I Enjoy This?

Dance with Devils is another of those anime that I have watched multiple times but that I do not have a good reason for doing so. As such, I thought I would share my thoughts on Dance with Devils in a review.

Diabolik Lovers, It’s Lacking Details

I did it, I rewatched another trashy anime and actually paid attention and this time it is Diabolik Lovers. I think I might eventually need to get my hands on the light novel, the manga or the games to get some of the answers. Since I do not have access to these at the moment and have not looked at them, I am unsure if the anime was just adapted assuming these key points were already known, or if the explanations did not make the cut due to time constraints. Either way, some points left me confused.

.Hack//Sign, What is Going On?

.Hack//Sign is one of those older anime that many have a love or a meh relationship with. The general theme of being stuck in a game was still rather new when it first aired in 2002. Some aspects of the story are clear and easy to follow, while others, are confusing if you do not pay attention.

A Review of Yamada’s First Time, Uhm

B Gata H Kei, aka Yamada's First Time is one of those anime that I feel bad that I actually enjoyed watching. Despite what the anime is about, it is surprisingly innocent. It was definitely made with a more mature - adults - audience in mind, whether the age restriction agrees or not. This time, the ecchi aspect of an anime is not just there as fan service but as an actual plot device. I'm shocked too.
