When watching anime and looking for ecchi titles, there are the classics that always get recommended like High School DxD. So I thought I would put together a list of ecchi recommendations that are not older than five years (2017 – 2021).

I feel that I need to mention, I watch uncensored versions if an anime has a censored and uncensored version out. Thus, this post does contain uncensored and censored imagery – you have been informed.

1. Mushoku Tensei: Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu / Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation

• Genres: Drama, Magic, Ecchi, Fantasy

Despite being ridiculed, despised, and persecuted his whole life, a thirty-four-year-old shut-in had the courage to do something heroic—only for it to end tragically. However, in an unforeseen change of events, he awakens as a newborn, Rudeus Greyrat, in another world, to two devoted parents.

Rudeus swiftly adjusts to his new environment by retaining his memories and expertise from his former life. With the intellect of an adult, he begins to demonstrate magical aptitude that exceeds all expectations, perfecting his skill with the assistance of a magician named Roxy Migurdia. Rudeus learns swordplay from his father, Paul, and meets Sylphiette, who immediately becomes his best friend.

As Rudeus’ second shot at life begins, he strives to make the most of his newfound freedom while overcoming his tragic background.

2. Peter Grill to Kenja no Jikan / Peter Grill and the Philosopher’s Time

Peter Grill, the world’s finest fighter, has finally shown his worth and is ready to propose and wed his beloved Luvelia Sanctos. Despite her father’s reservations, Peter intends to have a loving relationship with her.

Unfortunately, this ideal is swiftly shattered when word of his great victory spreads to the ladies of various races—ogres, orcs, elves, and others—with some even fighting for his sperm to make kids endowed with his power.  To avoid violating his beloved Luvelia’s trust and sparking a scandal, Peter avoids the lurid approach of other women. However, with so many attractive ladies on his tail, completing such a task is more challenging than his weak-willed self can handle.

3. Uzaki-chan wa Asobitai! / Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out!

Hana Uzaki reunites with Shinichi Sakurai, an upperclassman who was in the same club as her in high school, at the start of her first year at college. However, much to her surprise, the formerly busy senior has turned into a “lonesome” student who prefers to spend his spare time in solitude and quiet.

Uzaki tries all she can to keep Sakurai from feeling “alone,” from coaxing him to go to the movies to accompany him to his part-time job. While Sakurai finds her obnoxious and tedious, he nevertheless goes along with Uzaki’s pranks, despite the fact that he knows her bubbly demeanour would only get the two of them into all sorts of situations.

Nonetheless, their connection improves with each passing day, to the point that many around them mistake them as a couple. 

4. Tsugumomo

A “tsukumogami” is a living, self-aware item in Japanese mythology. There are two types of tsukumogami, tsugumomo and amasogi. The mature “tsugumomo,” evolved through many years of harmony with their masters. While aberrant “amasogi,” are only born to grant the destructive wants of some individuals, are the two sorts of.

Following his mother’s death, Kazuya Kagami has never left home without his mother’s obi. He keeps it secure with him at all times, whether at home or school. When a wig amasogi assaults him one day, he nearly loses his life. When it appears that all is lost, his prized obi comes to his aid, transforming into a lovely young lady. Kiriha, a tsugumomo that belongs to Kazuya’s mother, introduces herself.

Kazuya is then thrust into a world he has never known before, a world of gods and tsukumogami.

5. Ishuzoku Reviewers / Interspecies Reviewers

The planet is home to a plethora of different races, ranging from cheery fairies to slimy slimes. Naturally, such a mash-up of species has a wide and enticing range of brothels. With so many possibilities, it’s difficult to pick which succu-girl to have a meaningful, interpersonal encounter with.

Fortunately, a small band of courageous fighters has banded together to educate the public. Through hands-on study, these perverse explorers analyse the attraction of various sorts of succu-girls. The Yoruno Gloss reviewers leave no species untouched, whether it’s the scorchingly hot salamanders or the udderly hu-moo-ngous cow-girls.

Ishuzoku Reviewers, directed by the genius of Miru Tights, attempts to address one of the most urgent questions: which species is the sexiest?

6. Kawaikereba Hentai demo Suki ni Natte Kuremasu ka? / Hensuki: Are you willing to fall in love with a pervert, as long as she’s a cutie?

In terms of dating, many males, particularly those in their adolescence, desire to have a girlfriend. Keiki Kiryuu is no different. 8. Yuragi-sou no Yuuna-san /  Yuuna of Yuragi Manor, Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs

Yuragi-sou, formerly a hot springs inn and now a boarding home with ridiculously low rent, is almost deserted save for a few odd people. According to folklore, it is haunted by a nasty ghost that scares away all possible residents. As a result, it is the ideal sanctuary for Fuyuzora Kogarashi—a penniless, homeless psychic looking for a cheap place to stay and spirits to exorcise.

Kogarashi prepares for a showdown with the ghost, only to discover that it is not as evil as the rumours suggest. Instead, it is the spirit of a lovely silver-haired girl whose sole memory of her life before death is her name: Yuuna. Even more perplexing is the fact that the other residents of Yuragi-sou not only see Yuuna, but each one has their own supernatural talent.

Kogarashi seeks to find the sorrow that holds Yuuna tied to the realm of the living, lest she becomes an evil ghost destined to spend her eternity in hell, amidst the turmoil produced by his eccentric fellow inhabitants.

9. Gleipnir

Shuuichi Kagaya is a regular high school student who may, on occasion, turn into a monster. He has no idea how or why he gained his abilities; all he knows is that he would rather no one knew. He comes across a burning building with a girl trapped within one night. After deciding to save her, he transforms and carries her to safety, but he drops his phone in the process.

Claire Aoki, the girl he rescued, finds him the next day and confronts him with his terrible identity. After Shuuichi refutes her allegations, she even pushes him over the school roof to prove her point. In order to save himself, he transforms, and Claire photographs him in order to blackmail him into teaching her all he knows about monsters, which unfortunately isn’t much.

Claire, it turns out, has her own secret: she’s been searching for her sister, who has also turned into a monster. She enlists Shuuichi’s help in tracking her down, but they aren’t the only ones seeking answers.

10. Dokyuu Hentai HxEros / SUPER HXEROS

Alien creatures known as the “Kiseichuu” attacked the globe five years ago, aiming to take over the planet through a terrible scheme that would eventually wipe off humanity: take away humanity’s sexual drive using various methods, allowing them to die out. In response to the Kiseichuu’s scheme, the HxEros device was developed. The device is a powerful weapon that could be used against the Kiseichuu could use.

11. Ore dake Haireru Kakushi Dungeon / The Hidden Dungeon Only I Can Enter

Noir Starga is at the bottom of the social ladder, despite his aristocratic status. His fellow nobility oppresses him and treat him as trash as a result of this. He does, however, have the unusual yet powerful capacity to speak with the Great Sage, an oracle who can answer Noir’s questions on any subject.

Noir chooses to enter the Hero Academy after failing to land a job as a librarian. To get into the facility, he understands he has to get stronger. He should investigate a subterranean dungeon deep within the mountains, according to the Great Sage. Noir meets Olivia Servant there, a lovely but enslaved girl locked in the labyrinth. Olivia bestows on Noir a set of extremely strong abilities that give him near-complete control over reality. Naturally, there’s a catch: whenever Noir uses his powers, his life points drop, putting his life in jeopardy. He must indulge in worldly pleasures, such as kissing a childhood friend, in order to regain his vitality.

With his newfound abilities, Noir enrols at the Hero Academy, where he meets new people and assists them in overcoming the challenges that lie ahead.

12. Kandagawa Jet Girls

Jetters and their respective Shooters race together on their jet skis on the vivid and glistening waters of the Kanda River, speeding through the wind as they participate in Jet Races—”the world’s most intense aquatic sport!” Rin Namiki moves to Tokyo’s Asakusa Girls’ High School to follow her mother’s ambition of becoming a professional Jet Racer. 

She meets Misa Aoi, a first-year student who is similar to her. Tensions emerge, however, when Rin and Misa are pitted against Team Dress from the renowned Musashino Girls’ High School in a race.

Rin attempts to join her school’s Jet Racing club as a result of the race, only to learn that there is none. Rin’s drive remains unshaken, and she decides to form her own team, the “Kandagawa Jet Girls,” with Misa and three other girls. With her heart set on winning the annual Kandagawa Cup, Rin and her team approach the greatest stage of them all.

13. Hajimete no Gal / My First Girlfriend is a Gal

Junichi Hashiba asks a girl out after his perverted buddies perform a prank on him in an attempt to change the fact that he’s a hopeless virgin. Junichi’s grovelling disgusts Yukana Yame, the girl in question. However, after a series of taunting remarks, she gradually finds herself bonding with him and, to his surprise, accepting Junichi’s confession.

Junichi overcomes his lack of self-confidence and controls his sexual impulses despite being forced into a new school life full of vivacious females and unpredictable mayhem.

14. Nande Koko ni Sensei ga!? / Why the hell are you here, Teacher!?

Ichirou Satou, a second-year high school student, has always been a normal person—until he gets into some unusual events with his instructor, Kana “The Demon” Kojima. Satou’s Japanese language instructor, Kojima, has a reputation for being so harsh that even delinquents at the school kneel down to her. Things take a turn for the worst one fateful day when Satou runs into Kojima in the toilet, leading to an intimate meeting that leaves his imagination running wild for days.

Sensei, Nande Koko ni ga? follows Satou’s and his teacher’s daily lives as they continue to meet under similar circumstances, becoming closer with each meeting.

15. Megami-ryou no Ryoubo-kun. / Mother of the Goddess’ Dormitory

12-year-old Nagumi Koushi is abandoned by his father when their house burned down, leaving him destitute on the streets. He is then  asked to be their “Dormitory Mother.” Surrounded by older women and forced to deal with their idiosyncrasies, Koushi begins his new (somewhat ecchi) life!
