10 Martial Arts Reads with Female Leads

I am a huge fan of strong and independent female characters in stories. Some of the below female leads kick butt and others are still getting to the point where we can really see them shine.

Idol Dreams, an interesting concept

I found Idol Dreams volume one by Arina Tanemura while on the hunt for manga in my local comic book store. The purple and white cover drew my attention and the synopsis made me curious. I was not in the mood for anything too serious or heavy and after a quick Google search, I saw that there were not too many volumes. So I decided to adopt the manga and bring it home. Usually, when I play mobile anime games... Continue Reading →

Leone is a beastly assassin in a few ways, from the way she eliminates her targets to how she is mischievous and rambunctious. This post is a simple and look at who Leone was as a character in the anime, Akame Ga Kill. I have kept the character break down spoiler-free.

What does Shounen mean?

I briefly delved into what Shounen means in one of my recent posts. I thought it would be the perfect time to take a step back and really look at and define what shounen means in relation to anime and mang. It also gave me a chance to recommend and mention a few more shounen... Continue Reading →
