Leone, a Beastly Assassin

Leone is a beastly assassin in a few ways, from the way she eliminates her targets to how she is mischievous and rambunctious. This post is a simple and look at who Leone was as a character in the anime, Akame Ga Kill. I have kept the character break down spoiler-free.

Looks

Leone is a tall voluptuous beauty with short blonde hair and yellow eyes. She wears a black tube-top with detachable white sleeves. She wears her imperial arms a belt holding up her white cutaway pants and black shorts. Her white cutaway pants get tucked into a pair of brown calf-length boots. She finishes off the look with a long white wraparound scarf.

Once Leone transforms, her hair grows longer and she gets a pair of cat-like ears and a tail. Her hands transform into paws with sharp black claws.

As one of the older members of Night Raid, Leone takes it upon herself to fill the older sister role. Going as far as to refer to herself as “Big sis” and Onee-san”. She enjoys drinking with her buddies and teasing her friends. Raised in the slums she is not overly lady-like and enjoys relaxing and putting her feet up on the table. Although she has an upbeat and somewhat happy go lucky personality she abhors injustice towards innocents and will do what she can to get justice for the victims.

Strengths & Weaknesses

Leone has a strong and resilient body that she uses to her advantage when she fights. She prefers straightforward fights and hand to hand combat. As an extremely skilled spy and good at manipulating people, she sometimes uses her abilities to scam others. Using her stealth abilities, she gets close to her targets before using her physical strength and skill to eliminate them. Leone enjoys fighting and gets cautioned against drawing out fights with her targets.

Her imperial arms, Lionelle, enhances her physical abilities allowing her to have better reflexes and speed as well as improving her strength. If Leone gets injured during a battle, her imperial arms has the ability to heal her through regeneration. She is also able to sense and avoid danger to a certain extent.
