A new year, a new chance to watch a whole lot of anime and why not set a challenge? I spent a full week going through the anime that is releasing next year, my to watch list and my anime goals for the year. As I went through the anime I put together a list of 52 anime I aim to watch this year. One anime per week. Each anime is of varying length and some are going to be first time viewing and others will be a rewatch. Most of the rewatch anime are there due to a new season for that anime releasing this year. The rewatch is to refresh my memory of events and also to prep and hype myself up for the release.

This is my personal anime challenge for 2022 but you are more than welcome to join me. Either with my list or with your own. Here’s to a year filled with anime both new and old.
Also a big thanks to those who helped me put the list together by suggesting anime knowing I was looking for specific genres. You were a massive help.
