Can You Solve These Fairy Tail Puzzles?
No episode reviews today. No ranked lists. Just five puzzles built entirely out of Fairy Tail trivia, and no answer key in sight, that’s next Friday’s problem.
Whether you’ve followed Fairy Tail from the beginning or you’ve only recently joined the guild, these puzzles are a fun way to test your knowledge of characters, magic, guilds and memorable moments from the series. It has been quite a while since I last made a word game based on anime and not just as part of a tutor lesson.
Grab a pen, a printer, and whatever’s left of your guild knowledge. Here’s what you’re up against.
Difficulty at a glance:
| Puzzle | Difficulty |
|---|---|
| Crossword | Hard |
| Cryptogram | Medium |
| Double Puzzle | Hard |
| Letter Tiles | Very Hard |
| Word Search (Blind Edition) | Very Hard |
1. Crossword: 80+ Clues, No Mercy
Across and Down, all of them, covering everything from Dragon Slayers and guild wars to the family names you’ll only remember if you’ve actually been paying attention. You’ll need both the clue sheet and the grid for this one, they’re not optional extras, they’re the puzzle.

2. Cryptogram: Crack the Code
Every letter in the hidden message has been swapped for another letter. Fill in the key as you crack it, one letter at a time, until the full phrase reveals itself. No shortcuts, just pattern recognition and a stubborn streak. I gave a single clue ~ have fun!

3. A Double Puzzle: Unscramble Your Way to the Final Phrase
Unscramble each set of jumbled letters into a Fairy Tail word, then use the numbered letters from your answers to build the final phrase at the bottom. Get one word wrong and the phrase won’t add up, so no guessing your way through this one.

4. Letter Tiles: Rearrange to Reveal
A full set of scrambled letter tiles, each one used exactly once, hiding a complete message once you sort out the spacing and punctuation. Some words split across two lines, so don’t assume a dead end is actually a dead end.

5. Word Search: How Many Can You Find? (Blind Edition)
Here’s the twist: no word list this week. Just the grid, and the knowledge that there are 154 Fairy Tail words hidden somewhere inside it, characters, guilds, dragons, magic types, the lot. Find what you can from memory. The full list (and how close you got) gets posted alongside the answers next Friday.

The Answers Drop Next Friday
All five answer keys, plus the full 154-word list for the word search, are coming next week. Until then, screenshot your progress and tag me on @AllAnimeMag, I wanna see how far you actually got. I shall share my progress to, and I won’t cheat, since I too, don’t have the answer sheets made just yet.
