Comic Con Africa 2026 is almost here, and I have something rather exciting sitting in front of me:
Six Friday tickets to Comic Con Africa 2026 to give away.
Rather than putting all six tickets into one big draw, I am running three separate community giveaways, each with a different question for anime and manga fans.
And no, these aren’t follow-and-tag competitions.
I want to hear what you actually watch and read.
What anime do you desperately want other people to give a chance? What series deserves far more attention than it gets? And if you could convince somebody to read just one manga, manhwa, manhua or webtoon, what would you put in their hands?
Your answers are your entries.
The comments will also help me discover what the All Anime Mag community wants to talk about. I plan to use the answers to build future community posts for the blog and socials, so even after the tickets are gone, I hope we can get a few new conversations and recommendations out of this.
The three Comic Con Africa giveaways
Giveaway 1: Recommend an anime
- Goes live: 8 September 2026
- Closes: 17 September 2026
- Winner draw: 18 September 2026
What is one anime you genuinely believe people should give a chance?
For me, one of those series is Soul Land.
For this giveaway, Japanese anime, Chinese donghua and Korean aeni are all welcome. Hentai, however, is not.

Giveaway 2: What series do you wish was talked about more?
- Goes live: 9 September 2026
- Closes: 18 September 2026
- Winner draw: 19 September 2026
Manga, manhwa, manhua or webtoon. If you could recommend just one series and say, “Give this a fair chance”, what would you choose?

Comic Con Africa 2026 Giveaway #3: Name a Character You Love
- Goes live: 10 September 2026
- Closes: 19 September 2026
- Winner draw: 20 September 2026
Who is a character you love? They can come from anime, manga, manhwa, manhua, donghua, aeni or webtoons. They don’t have to be your ultimate favourite. Just name a character you’re fond of and tell me which series they’re from.
Comic Con Africa 2026 Giveaway #3: Name a Character You Love
What can you win in this Comic Con Africa 2026 giveaway?
There are six Friday tickets to Comic Con Africa 2026 available across the three giveaways.
Here’s where I’m doing things a little differently.
When your name is drawn, you can choose whether you want one ticket or two tickets.
Not everybody has someone they want to take with them, and not everybody wants to attend Comic Con alone. I don’t want somebody taking a second ticket they don’t need simply because the prize says “two tickets”.
So you choose.
After each winner claims one or two tickets, I will tally how many of the six remain and continue drawing eligible winners until all six tickets have been allocated.
This means we could end up with three winners taking two tickets each, six winners taking one each, or something in between.
Where can you enter?
Each giveaway can be entered in five places:
- Here on the individual All Anime Mag giveaway blog posts
- Facebook: @AllAnimeMag
- Instagram: @AllAnimeMag
- TikTok: @AllAnimeMag
- YouTube: @AllAnimeMag (either the video or the image post)
Look for the corresponding giveaway post on each platform. You are welcome to enter on more than one platform. By doing so you can earn up to 25 entries per competiton.
How entries work
Each valid comment = 1 entry.
You may submit up to 5 entries per platform, per giveaway.
Each comment must contain a different eligible series.
For example, if you comment 3 times mentioning one series in each comment:
- “One Piece”
- “Naruto”
- “Bleach”
those are 3 entries.
If you comment “One Piece” five separate times, you have 1 valid entry, not five. Or if you comment “Black Clover, Sword Art Online and Delicious in Dungeon” that is also only 1 valid entry, not three.
You don’t need to worry if somebody else has already recommended the same series. They can have an entry for One Piece and so can you. You simply cannot use your own same answer repeatedly to generate additional entries.
Why one series per comment?
Because yes, I am asking the algorithms for a little help here. If you put five recommendations into one comment, that is still only one comment and one entry.
I’d much rather you leave five individual comments. Apart from giving you five entries, those comments may tell the social media algorithms that people are interested in the post and help the giveaways reach more South African anime and manga fans.
So this is one of those rare occasions where I am actively asking you to leave me more comments.
Do replies count?
Yes.
Genuine replies to other people’s comments can count as entries, provided the reply itself gives an eligible answer to that competition’s question.
If someone mentions an anime or manga you adore, feel free to jump into their replies and tell them.
What won’t count are bullying, harassment, aggressive comments, insults or similar behaviour.
We’re here to talk about anime and manga and give away Comic Con tickets. There is absolutely no reason for things to get nasty.
What about GIFs and stickers?
GIFs and stickers can count, but you need to name the series in your comment or reply. I need to know what you’re actually entering.
Can I enter all three giveaways?
Absolutely.
These are three separate competitions.
Entering Giveaway 1 does not prevent you from entering Giveaways 2 or 3.
You can also enter each giveaway across multiple eligible platforms, subject to the five-entry-per-platform limit.
Do I have to follow All Anime Mag or tag a friend?
No.
This is not a follow-and-tag giveaway.
You don’t have to follow @AllAnimeMag to enter, and you don’t have to tag anybody.
Would I appreciate a follow? Of course.
Would I appreciate you sharing the giveaway or tagging a South African anime fan who might want to go to Comic Con Africa? Definitely.
But doing so does not give you an additional entry, and not doing so does not invalidate your entry.
Who can enter?
You must live in South Africa to enter.
You must also be able to use the Friday Comic Con Africa 2026 ticket if you win. The tickets are specifically for Friday and cannot be swapped by me for another Comic Con day.
Hentai entries
Hentai does not qualify for any of these competitions. A hentai title submitted as a joke, trap answer or genuine recommendation will be treated as an invalid entry.
So no, Boku no Pico isn’t your clever loophole.
How will the draws work?
Each giveaway has its own draw:
- Giveaway 1: 18 September 2026
- Giveaway 2: 19 September 2026
- Giveaway 3: 20 September 2026
I will collect the eligible entries for that giveaway from the blog, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Threads and use a random name draw/spin-the-wheel method to select a winner.
Because winners can choose either one or two tickets, I will continue drawing as necessary until all six available tickets have been allocated.
Claiming your tickets
If your name is drawn, you will have 24 hours to claim your ticket or tickets.
If you don’t respond within those 24 hours, I will draw another eligible winner.
Please keep an eye on All Anime Mag and your messages around the draw dates if you’ve entered.
If any of the six tickets are still unallocated by Thursday, 24 September 2026, I reserve the right to choose who receives the remaining ticket or tickets rather than conducting another random draw.
At that point Comic Con Africa is upon us, and my priority will be making sure the tickets actually get used.
General competition terms
These rules apply specifically to the Comic Con Africa 2026 Friday ticket giveaways.
You should also read the All Anime Mag Competition Terms & Conditions before entering.
Where the specific rules published for these Comic Con Africa giveaways differ from the general competition terms, the specific rules for these giveaways apply.
Ready?
Pick your competition. Or enter all three. The first is going live on the 8th, second on the 9th and the 3rd on the 10th.
Giveaway 1: Recommend an Anime
Giveaway 2: If You Were Only Going to Read One, Read This
Giveaway #3: Name a Character You Love
Six tickets. Three giveaways.
And hopefully a comment section absolutely packed with things for all of us to watch and read.
Good luck!
