Otaku Moves: Week 2

Since my original plan of post on the day what needs to be done that day clearly failed I have revised it. Why I did not do it this way from the beginning I have no idea, or wait, I was trying to be clever…So here is the revised strategy. I shall give each week an anime theme, mainly because I want to as it seems more fun as well as ‘otaku-ish’ as well as it will add a little bit of structure to what will be done. Don’t worry you will completely understand what I mean! I just don’t want to spoil it just yet.

Day 1

Focus: The Arms

The Exercise:

  • Arm Swing (10 forwards & 10 backwards)
  • Deltoid Stretch
  • Triceps Stretch
  • Bell Pull
  • Standing wall press up
  • Post Exercise Triceps Stretch
  • Post-Exercise Deltoid Stretch

Day 2#OtakuMoves Squat.jpg

Focus: The Legs

The Challenge:

  • Squats
  • Rep:30

This was suggested to be our very first challenge, you know who you are, and I said ‘later’. I had no intention of having it so soon, but this is a slight punishment for me for not getting a full week 1 done and up. Punishment? Yip it is and you’ll understand fully when I do this week’s reflection.  A few of you already know why Smile with tongue out

Day 3

Focus: The Core (a.k.a the stomach)

The Exercise:

  • Knee Fold Tuck

  • Climbing Rope

  • Side Balance crunch

  • Circle Plank

Day 4

Focus: Full Body

The Challenge:

  • Burpies
  • Rep: 10

It will be my very first time doing burpies, but I am kind of excited and nervous to try it.

Don’t know how to do these moves? Relax, I will post how to do them on the days I will be doing each of the above. Don’t worry it is already typed up and scheduled to go live so my routine is now set in place, all that is left for me to do is actually do them.

Remember, you can choose any four days to do this! I will be doing them as follows thou:

  • Day 1 – Monday
  • Day 2 – Tuesday
  • Day 3 – Thursday
  • Day 4 – Friday (so I can have sat to recover!)

So if you need to know how to do the moves before the days they are posted and I do them, tell me so! Either by e-mail or in the comments below! I will be sure to get the instructions to you. Just give me some time to respond, so contact me at least an hour before hand.

Don’t forget to take a before pic so when you look back you can see the progress you have made! Other than that please remember to follow #OtakuMoves on Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and Instagram to see all the action with this and remember to include that # when you post so that I too can follow your progress Smile

Otherwise how is this week’s #OtakuMoves looking? Also, what do you think the theme for this week could be?
