Fairy Tail, the Manga Continues

By this point, most Fairy Tail fans are aware that the adventure did not end with the completion of the main Fairy Tail manga and anime. Since it was soon followed by the Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest manga, and we are now waiting for the air date of the anime. However, not many fans know that there are several spin-off series and one-shots of our favourite characters and their adventures.

The following are extensions of the original Fairy Tail, but not all of the below titles were written or illustrated by Hiro Mashima. A number of them also explore ‘what-if’ possibilities.

Mashima-HEROS

On True Island, the Fairy Tail guild is taking a well-deserved break when Natsu is drawn into the jungle by the scent of delicious fruit. There he meets Shiki, a young boy who is also on the lookout for the same fruit. On the other hand, Haru and his friends are also on the island and plan to destroy something called “Oasis.” HERO’S is a spin-off manga mini-series written and illustrated by Hiro Mashima that began serialisation on October 16, 2019. Rave Master, Fairy Tail, and Edens Zero are three of Mashima’s manga series that are combined in this mini-series. Mashima announced in February 2020 that the manga would be renamed “Mashima HERO’S” in order to improve search engine results and that he was considering writing a sequel to the storey.

Have you read any of the above manga? My personal favourite spin-off is Gray’s Ice Trail.
