7 Epic Anime Studios

Without animation studios, we would not have anime. Pretty obvious huh, but how many animation studios do you know that make anime? I have put together a list of seven of the more popular and well known ‘anime’ studios. 

1 Bones

Founded in October 1998, Bones has been producing anime for over 20 years. During those 20 odd years, they have produced world-renown anime. 

Some of their titles include:

  • My Hero Academia
  • Noragami
  • Mob Psycho 100
  • Fullmetal Alchemist and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
  • Koukyoushihen Eureka Seven

2 MadHouse

Madhouse_logo

Founded in 1972 they have been bringing us anime for over 48 years and have produced over 350 anime and movies combined.

Some of their titles include:

  • Hajime no Ippo
  • Hunter x Hunter (2011)
  • One Punch Man
  • Death Note
  • Chihayafuru

3 A-1 Pictures

2005 saw the start of A-1 Pictures. In just 15 years they have expanded and produced some really iconic anime.

Some of their titles include:

  • Your Lie in April
  • The Promised Nerverland
  • Sword Art Online
  • Fairy Tail
  • Black Butler

4 Kyoto Animation

Established in 1981, Kyoto animation  As of 2015, Kyoto Animation has produced some truly emotional series.

Some of their titles include:

  • Clannad
  • A Silent Voice
  • Beyond the Boundary
  • Violet Evergarden
  • Free!

5 Trigger

Studio Trigger is one of the newer animation studios. It was first established in 2011. 

Some of their titles include:

  • Kill la Kill
  • Little Witch Academia
  • Promare
  • Kiznaiver
  • Hacka Doll

6 J.C Staff

J.C.Staff_logo-vert

J.C Staff have been producing numerous well-known anime series since 1986.

Some of their titles include:

  • Toradora!
  • Food Wars
  • Is it wrong to pick up chicks in a Dungeon
  • Kaichou wa Maid-sama!
  • Bakuman.

7 White Fox

For having such a cute logo, since their founding in 2007, the staff at White Fox studio have given us heavy-hitting and intense but entertaining anime. 

Some of their titles include:

  • Steins;Gate
  • Akame ga Kill!
  • Shinchou Yuusha: Kono Yuusha ga Ore Tsueee Kuse ni Shinchou Sugiru
  • Goblin Slayer
  • Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu
