Welcome to the Alphabetical Journey through Anime, a new series that I am launching on my blog and social media platforms. The idea and series are rather simple. The overall goal is to have fun, learn something new, and interact with other anime fans.

In this post, I shall provide information on the listed anime, including why you should consider watching it, where you can stream it, and, if I have reviewed the anime, a link to the review.

Aggretsuko follows the life of Retsuko, a 25-year-old red panda who works as an accountant at a Japanese trading firm. She faces various challenges and frustrations at her workplace, such as sexist bosses, annoying co-workers, and unrealistic deadlines. To cope with her stress, she vents her emotions by singing death metal at a karaoke bar every night.

Aggretsuko has realistic and relatable themes and a heavy dose of comedy and satire. The cast is made up of cute and quirky characters that deal with the struggles of working in the modern office. There are a lot of comedic and satirical scenes that are clever, insightful, and relatable. It is a fun watch, and it does not shy away from addressing serious issues. The anime mixes humour and drama. The music is good too, especially if you like metal.

Ah My Buddah! is an anime with supernatural themes and a heavy emphasis on its ecchi and harem elements. The anime has a supernatural theme, with the cast performing exorsisims. There are a lot of ecchi and fan service scenes, which some criticise as being nothing more than ‘fan service’. It is a light watch, and it does not pretend to be anything else.

AnoHana is an anime that deals with themes of grief, friendship, and nostalgia. It is full of emotional and touching moments, as well as some humour and romance sprinkled in. Aoharu x Machinegun has a lot of humour, especially from the interactions between the characters and the situations they get into.
